A special note about voter registration deadlines: 

Here in Texas, there’s a new obstacle that can catch you off guard!
How postmarks are made has changed. Meaning anything needed to be mailed may be delayed and cause you to miss a deadline. Give yourself extra time if mailing in your voter registration application or mail in ballots.
